Motivation

Switching tasks often means opening applications, locating existing windows and arranging them. Desktop Workflow organizes those repeated operations into configurable workflows.

My work

I implemented workflow configuration, window discovery and reuse, concurrent launch waiting, native Windows snapping and proportional layouts, execution snapshots, failure rollback, tray controls and shortcuts.

Key design

Separate the target workflow from concrete window operations. Save window state before execution and restore from the snapshot when a run is cancelled, fails or exits abnormally. Check both successful execution and interruptions: existing windows, slow launches, partial completion and the effect of recovery on the previous desktop state.
